    See you in Lithuania!

    The challenge was clear; Lithuania is not known for any specific attractions. Holiday-goers do not know what to expect when visiting.

    The message we chose to to communicate was that Lithuania is a small country. Everything there is close to the city and the forest, the professional and ancient culture. You can experience a lot on a short holiday break. We needed to show how Lithuania is full of activities, attractions, and culture. Our solution was to show a lot of information, in a highly visual & emotional format.

    The website is responsive, and has a dedicated mobile layout to ensure smartphone and tablet users remain engaged. A travel cart allows you to built a list of attractions to create your dream holiday, and share it on social networks!

  • Flahavan’s website

    The time of the oat is here! Oats are finally getting the attention they deserve – healthy, nutritious, and tasty! What better way to spread the word than through a tasty website?

    Flahavan’s have launched a new website devoted to promoting the brand to Irish, UK, and international markets (where they are having great success).

    Gaumina created the website which aims to engage visitors with recipes, competitions, great news articles and tips on health and nutrition. Of course, you can also find information about their tasty oat products, and find out where to buy them.

    Our aim was to build a site that fits in with the Flahavan’s brand values and ethos, and attract users with irresistible content.

    To celebrate the launch, Flahavan’s are giving one lucky winner a hamper packed with a selection of Flahavan’s products and lots of other Flahavan’s goodies!

    An essential website helping children when they need it most
    The Childline Online website helps alleviate the over-extended phone and text lines by providing an essential service where children can chat directly to ISPCC volunteers.

    Gaumina generated a completely new online brand book, creating a whole new look and feel to how the brand will be presented online. We then went on to create a user friendly website that contains highly detailed reporting and monitoring features – this ensures the service quality can be kept at the high standard that Childline are known best for.

    It’s rare to get the chance to create a digital project that will make a real difference in people’s lives. We can’t thank ISPCC enough for the opportunity, and we are so proud of the result.

  • Audi Facebook Competition

    Convert fans!

    Audi Ireland have built a very successful social networking presence, with nearly 30,000 Facebook fans. The challenge was to convert these fans to newsletter subscribers, so that they could engage with them even further. The solution was to create a simple and effective Facebook application with a data capture for email addresses.

    This application allows Audi to run competitions on Facebook, and because it is customisable, they can change the design and content to run new competitions! It’s an excellent way to maximise the return on investment, as competitions can be run again and again.

    Great to building your community too – the app requires users to LIKE the page before they can enter (gathering new page fans), and there’s a simple form to fill out to enter (for data capture and building a newsletter database).

    Competitions are tried and tested formula on Facebook, but this app gives a re-usable longevity to ensure you get the most from it.

    Baltic Bicycle Trade Website

    The purpose of this project was to create a website for BBT bicycle traders. A display of the different types of bicycles was the primary driver on the homepage.

    Functionality was provided for businesses to order and make reservations on the site. This was done by integrating with Microsoft Navision software.

    An engaging and simple social message
    After recently completing a Facebook Communication Strategy for the World Wildlife Fund and upgrading their page to cater for the new timeline layout, we had the challenge of getting a simple message across to their Facebook audience: Use less water.

    We hit them where it hurts: the coffee cup. Gaumina created a flipbook that clearly and effectively teaches their fans to think twice before ordering their next coffee.

    Gyproc Ireland: A Smoother Visitor Experience. Gyproc.ie is a place for contractors and homeowners to see building finishes in a fresh light – and convince themselves that it’s worth investing in a named brand.

    The minimalist feel reflects new tastes and modernises the perception of the company. Hi-vis navigation blocks fast-track users to information that is purpose-designed to be absorbed quickly. When in doubt, a helpful PDF download will be a Contact Form away.

    The “System Selector” is the site’s commercial engine. Previously, a specifier relied on unassisted searches of bulky, printed manuals to find the ideal Gyproc system. We’ve made life easier, using filters and algorithms to automate these searches and allow instant comparisons between ‘what if’ scenarios. And if more support is needed? The website makes it clear that Gyproc’s new Technical Team will be happy to help.

    Isover Ireland: BER = Better End-User Rating. The new Isover Ireland website is designed to appeal to contractors and homeowners alike. Clean lines and bold Call To Action blocks fast-track visitors to seo-friendly inner page content.

    A billboard-style leaderboard greets arrivals to the title page, quickly highlighting Isover specialties. A prominent ‘Virtual House’ block entices visitors onto a dynamic tour of an Isover-insulated home. Isover welcome enquiries & questions – hence the universal page footers with key contact info.

    Inside the site we’ve taken the chore out of researching Products and Systems with an interactive table. Our CMS Rich Text Editor comes into its own, allowing a varied mix of photographic, video and text content. Facilitating fresh content updates means sustained visitor attention and deeper brand engagement.

    A new home for Ireland’s Digital Base. The Digital Hub is an epicentre for the advances that are ‘Shaping Ireland’s Digital Future’. The organisation needed a new, news-focused website that would project fresh-thinking.

    Bold pictorial blocks impactfully announce the headline stories of the moment, linking through to rich-text articles with optional images and video. For maximum talkability, readers can instantly share any news item via social media links.

    Jobs & Company Directory sections are proving particularly popular, as is the Member’s Only room booking function.

  • ‘Goldnomics’ Video Animation

    Winner ‘Best Video Campaign’, Bord Gais Social Media Awards 2011. Precious metal specialists Goldcore were at a crossroads. They needed to transcend traditional financial sector marketing channels and educate a wider audience about the enduring value of gold.

    The leap of faith: They dared to be different and hinged their hopes on making a breakthrough with a viral video. The result: 150,000 YouTube views and constant flows of new visitors to their website.

  • ISPCC Website

    Charity begins at the homepage. The new website for the Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) brings the organisation, its volunteer networks and all fundraising campaigns together within a single CMS for the first time.

    Special, large-format campaign landing pages immediately activate visitor emotions to drive donations. We also took steps to improve the online donation experience in collaboration with Realex Payments.

    The new website has been purpose-designed to extend reach (by integrating multiple social media platforms) & sustain repeat interest (by giving prominence to blocks of ultra-fresh content). Plus we specially-configured our CMS so ISPCC can easily self-build new campaign microsites.

  • Bord na Mona – “Innomercial”

    Animation inspires innovation. Bord na Mona’s Innovation Team have a bold statement of intent: They intend to be pivotal in ‘helping shape Ireland’s economic future’.

    The client needed an animation and set of Case Study videos that would quickly explain Bord na Mona’s 5-step ‘stage-gate’ innovation process and invite business-stars of the future to submit ideas for funding.

    In partnership with Kick Communications we created a futuristic animation that uses dynamic font-work and sophisticated transitions to fuel Ireland’s future progress.

  • ‘Mousey Housey’ – iPad App

    The App for All Seasons. Introducing Pelyte Smailyte, a curious & courageous little Lithuanian mouse.

    Previously confined to print media, Gaumina has created an iPad App that brings Pelyte to a whole new, global audience. What sets the App apart is its ability to change content, depending on the weather and time of day in the viewer’s location.

    Dynamic scenes mix with video content, motion-sensored animations, button-activated voiceovers and interactive games to create a spellbinding online experience. Just ask the kids who tested it for us!

  • Svyturys Incredible Land of Lithuania

    What’s more important than User Experience? User Enchantment. Svyturys is to Lithuania as Guinness is to Ireland: A beer that’s part of the fabric of its country’s culture. So, when Svyturys asked us for help in telling their story “The Land of Svyturys” inspired ”The Incredible Land of Lithuania” microsite.

    Our concept: A ‘fold-out’ online storybook where gorgeous illustrations and creative copy bring fascinating facts to life.

  • Lollipop Day – Facebook & More

    Spirited Community. In Spring 2010, Facebook introduced Likes. And Gaumina launched an official Page for Irish charity Oesophageal Cancer Fund. Since then, over 7000 people have joined the OCF community, making a massive difference to volunteering, donations and awareness.

    OCF have been committed to rewarding their fans with quality content. Gaumina have produced an e-mail newsletter plus two suites of videos, including survivor stories, interviews with patron Padraig Harrington and event footage. Facebook advertising and twitter activity have extended Lollipop Day’s reach and continue to inform new audiences.

  • Subaru Ireland

    Traffic Magnet. Subaru Ireland wanted a new website to project “Confidence in Motion”. We created an image-rich website platform with galleries galore that lets the cars express themselves and raise viewers’ heart rates.

    Two home page News blocks deliver regular feeds of fresh content to create a sense of constant progress and boost SEO. Dealer enquiries have enjoyed steady increases thanks to the Contact Form that is prominent on every page. We super-charge website traffic several times a year by master-minding and running competitions for Subaru Irleand’s Facebook fans.

    When two brands are better than one. The challenges were multiple. Subaru Ireland wanted an App that would a) Expand their facebook community, b) attract more females and c) get the brand talked about by an older audience.

    Our competition tie-in with Debenhams exceeded expectations: Over 3,000 new Likers. A doubling of website visits. A surge in Word of Mouth.
    Subaru’s facebook community now looks very different: Exponentially bigger, with an ideal spread of gender and age. In sum, this competition left a fantastic ‘Legacy’.

    We obliged with a billboard-style home page takeover complete with ‘teaser video’, social network connections and a prominent appeal to impulse buy.

  • CM Haughey Solicitors

    The Rules of Online Audience Attraction. CM Haughey Solicitors is the classic case of a business that had outgrown its original website. The firm needed a new-look website to differentiate them from more traditional rivals and reflect their dynamism and progressiveness. To give them an additional edge we built an application that allows visitors to calculate their ‘claim expiry date’ unassisted.

    The Dublin legal profession is highly competitive. To build awareness of the client’s new business approach & website we implemented an extensive Google Adwords campaign, steadily attracting new visitors.
